📢 Safe H-DRI Online Workshop successfully held!

On 25 June 2026, the Safe H-DRI project hosted its online workshop dedicated to key aspects related to the safe handling, storage, transport and use of hydrogen-based direct reduced iron.

The workshop brought together project partners and external participants interested in the future of low-carbon steelmaking, offering the opportunity to exchange knowledge and collect valuable feedback on H-DRI-related challenges and needs.

The discussion focused on relevant aspects such as H-DRI stability, reoxidation behaviour, safety considerations, logistics requirements and future approaches for safe H-DRI handling and transport.

We would like to sincerely thank all speakers, participants and contributors for their active involvement and for making the workshop a successful and valuable exchange.
