📍 ESTEP Spring Dissemination Event | Krakow 2025
Last week, our project coordinator Melanie Leitner represented the Safe H-DRI project at the ESTEP Spring Dissemination Event in Kraków, Poland.
📢 Melanie presented how the Safe H-DRI project is working to ensure the safe handling and transport of DRI from hydrogen-based direct reduction. The project explores factors such as different iron ore qualities, reactivity, stability, and the efficiency of passivation methods, while also considering health and recycling aspects.

Our Partners
The consortium of the Safe H-DRI project consists of 20 partners including steel producers, plant supplier, logistics providers, RTOs, and universities from Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Beglium, France, Spain and Italy. All of them have outstanding know-how in ironmaking and bulk solid transportation.
